Deep Plane Facelift Dr. Min-Hee Ryu

Patient Q&A 3: Deep Plane Facelift vs. Preservation Deep Plane Facelift

Hello, I’m Dr. Min-Hee Ryu from Gangnam, Seoul.

For the third Q&A, I’ll discuss the topic: ‘Deep Plane Facelift vs. Preservation Deep Plane Facelift’.

Both techniques share the same fundamental principle of fully releasing the retaining ligaments in the sub-SMAS plane.

The key difference lies in the extent of skin dissection.

The Preservation Deep Plane Facelift reduces the range of skin dissection, which minimizes bruising and swelling and shortens the recovery period.

This also lowers the risk of sequelae such as hematoma and skin irregularity.

This concept aligns with what I explained in the previous video about the Composite Facelift.

The Preservation Deep Plane Facelift seeks to achieve outstanding results through fully releasing retaining ligaments while limiting the extent of skin dissection for faster recovery.

This reflects the latest trend in facelifting techniques, and it is also the approach I apply in ‘Dr. RYU’s DEEP PLANE FACELIFT’, incorporating the Composite concept.

Did this help you understand the differences between the Deep Plane Facelift and the Preservation Deep Plane Facelift?

Please feel free to leave your questions on Dr. Ryu’s YouTube channel, and I’ll select topics to create more videos.

Thank you!
